Culross pottery started over 25 years ago in a former granary built in 1624. Today, it’s a working pottery hosting workshops and classes.
The pottery has space for 8 people per class, for hand-building at the table or throwing on the wheel and is well-equipped with every tool you’ll need.
THE STUDIO
The Pottery was once a granary with family accommodation upstairs and was built in 1624. It now houses a gallery, shop and cafe. You’ll find the Pottery through the shop.
THE BUILDING
Get started and try a pottery class
Come and join a class in Culross — try throwing clay on the wheel and pinching, coiling, and slab-building pots. You can try all of them in our classes and then choose the method that best suits the project you have in mind.
